Everything seems to have been said about the campaign. Everything imaginable. By an infinite number of bloggers and  pundits and etc.  But to label the campaign boring, like David Brooks does, seems to me a novel idea. All these ups and downs and the debates....Wonder how does Brooks get his kicks? True, the ending is dull.

Unbearable Lightness

For several days I had tried to remember the name of the actor who had played in The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Felt very depressed. Then looked in a list of 100 best British actors.  Read all the names and looked at their photos. Could not recognize ....Felt even worse - not only unable to remember but also not able to recognize the picture.  Later I found out it was Daniel Day Lewis who in fact was not listed.  Forgotten and omitted...
