I have a new toilet seat -a sustainable one - that doesn't make any noise when you flush. How disappointing! What a let down not to hear the water roar following a job well done.

As to New Yorkers? I don't think I know more than five people whose grand parents were born in this city. They cannot be accused of not having learned from the rest of the world. Maybe the texans in Washington
